By simple definition, constipation is the medical condition of passing hard, dry stools in a difficult manner or on an infrequent basis.   • Treatment for an underlying disorder – Sometimes constipation can happen because of underlying disorders such as anal fissures, abdominal hernia, or hypothyroidism. In such instances, getting treatment for the aforesaid conditions can ease your constipation and allow regular bowel movements again.
